Salerno is a city and comune in Campania (south-western Italy) and is the capital of the province of the same name. It is located on the Gulf of Salerno on the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The area has volcanic soil, which is yet another type of terrain.
Our school is a comprehensive high school specialized in two fields (Nautical Studies for seas and rivers, lakes) and a School for Tourism. We have about 650 students and around 100 members of the staff (teachers and administration). We are well in most of European and International programs such as former Comenius, Erasmus Plus KA1 and KA2, Asia-Europe, International Friendship Week and a lot of other projects which foresee European funding (PON, POR, FESR). We are located in Salerno in the South of Italy in an area that is well reknown for its historical and naturalistic treasure (Think of Pompei, The Volcano, Capri, ISchia, Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast, Paestum, Cilento Coast). We have a staff of teachers and administratives who is well used to dealing with International projects and are helpful and collaborative.
